~ ANNOUNCEMENTS ~

 

From the Pastor’s Desk:  The pastor is asking the following:

1.  That we bring in canned food items on each first Sunday until further notice.

2.  That we bring a Compassionate Offering on each Third Sunday.  He is asking that we put our loose change in a can or vessel and bring it on the Third Sunday.  The above (food/Compassionate Offering) is to be used for the needs of our Church Family.

 

New Members Classes – Meet every first and third Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

 

Know Your Tribe – Know Your Tribe Leader

All Adult members of Mt. Moriah have been placed on a tribe.  Each tribe member has been asked to contribute $20.00 a month to the Church’s Upkeep Fund (Church Maintenance).  These funds are needed for repairs and upkeep of our Church Annex, Health Ministry Building and maintenance of the 5th Street Property.  If you have not been contacted, or if there are questions, please call Gloria Dingle @ 352-622-4757.  Your TRIBE MONEY at WORK recently – Painting the Church, Roof repairs, Sidewalks cleaned, Windows repaired, front doors tinted and front steps repaired.  Take an excursion and view the beautiful steeple light that adorns the church.

Nancy Gal, R.D. from the University of Florida will meet with the Diabetes Group, February 25, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in the Health Connection Building.

 

We have a new computer program and we are asking all members to fill out a new membership information form to update what was originally put in the computer when you joined.  If you have not filled out a Membership Information form; please do so as soon as possible if you have changed your address or added an email address, etc.  They are located in the middle of the south hall.  Please slip them in the box by the secretary’s door.  Thank you for your help.

 

Effective January 2010, Cassettes will ONLY BE MADE PER REQUEST.

 

PLEASE TURN OFF ALL CELL PHONES OR ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS DURING CHURCH SERVICE.

 

If you have any announcement, please get them to the secretary no later than

NOON TUESDAY.
